About us
The Maison d'Accueil Mutchmore is a non-profit organization located in the heart of our neighborhood at 142 Mutchmore Street. As a community center, we work every day to develop our community—a neighborhood that may be economically fragile but is rich in the quality and commitment of its residents.
Our house is a place of welcome, support, and encouragement for civic engagement. We invite residents to get socially and politically involved, actively participate in the fight against poverty and inequality, and contribute to building a strong, dynamic, and supportive community.
As members of the Inter-Quartier, the network of community centers in Gatineau, we work to strengthen our neighborhood in multiple ways, both economically and socially. We promote citizen participation through a process of ongoing democratization that encourages local involvement and collective development.

Office d'habitation de l'Outaouais (OHO), the City of Gatineau, Mr. Marc Bureau (our municipal councilor), Centraide, the CISSS de l'Outaouais through the PSOC program (support program for community organizations) as well as the Foundation J.A. De Sève are valuable partners, both for the resources and for the financial assistance they provide us.
