About us
La maison d’accueil Mutchmore is a non-profit organization. We are located in the heart of our neighborhood at 142 Mutchmore. We are a Neighborhood House. We are working on the development of the Mutchmore district, an economically weak district, but very rich in the quality of the residents who make it up.
We are members of the group of Gatineau neighborhood centers: Inter-Quartier. We are therefore working to develop our disadvantaged neighborhood in some aspects (economically and socially) by promoting citizen participation, participation which takes place in a process of permanent democratization and which promotes neighborhood intervention.
Office d'habitation de l'Outaouais (OHO), the City of Gatineau, Mr. Marc Bureau (our municipal councilor), Centraide, the CISSS de l'Outaouais through the PSOC program (support program for community organizations) as well as the Foundation J.A. De Sève are valuable partners, both for the resources and for the financial assistance they provide us.
We are a place of welcome, support and invitation to citizen involvement. We invite our residents to get involved socially or politically, to participate in mobilization to fight poverty and inequalities.
